Break free from your mind: unleash your potential

For a long time in our own lives, we lived the way many of us are taught to live, driven by intellect, strategy, performance, and the constant need to manage everything around us. Carrying what so many of us carry: an invisible suit of armour built to protect us from a loud, demanding world.

We spend years building these internal structures, believing they keep us safe. But eventually, we realise that the same walls protecting us are also keeping us trapped.

The verse below, titled The Observation of Self, came through last week. It speaks to the invisible prison we construct inside our own heads, and the sacred moment we finally learn to step back, observe it, and return home to our true selves.

The Observation of Self

Understand the world you live in is yours to imagine

It is yours to build

It is yours to create

No fixed boundaries exist outside of your mind

All limitations are within

They are fixed until you see them

They are rigid until you release them

Your own prison exists

Limiting the possibility of life

Limiting the potential of life

Limiting the permutation that you can have on life

To go within in stillness

Is to observe the creature at play

The creature within that constructs the rules

The creature who has no name outside of your own body

To see this creature at play is to witness the destruction of your soul

It holds no boundaries to its play

It embarks upon the creation of your narrative

The you should

The you shouldn't

The creation of fear and burdens

That don't exist outside of your body

To be still is to take time to witness the truth

The observation of self

The witnessing of the body

The witnessing of the breath

The witnessing of the heart

Break down the complex and begin the slow return to the soul

Begin the tantric return

An unwinding of the self

Seen only by the self

Laid bare upon the altar of the observer

Create the stillness within

Laying down the transformation of the mind

As it is released from your body

It is removed from the stillness by forgiving its busyness

It is given permission to stop interrupting by accepting that it does

The truth lays within

Within the still you can see the universe of power

Reaching forth with the force of gravity

Return the energy to the self

The humbleness of the entity within

Praise the creation of the beginning of you

Praise the aptitude of your heart

To be filled with the love that you are

To be filled with the joy of your life

To be filled with the essence of you

Simply

Beautifully

You.

The Practice

Stepping back into stillness is not about forcing the mind to be quiet or fighting the thoughts that arise. The mind constructs rules, fears, and obligations because that is its nature.

The turning point comes when you move from being caught in the story to becoming the observer of it. When you forgive the busyness of your mind and accept its interruptions, the noise naturally begins to clear. You stop fighting the creature, and instead, you gently reclaim your energy.

We leave you with this single thought to hold gently in your heart:

“If you were to step back into total stillness right now... what story is the creature in your mind telling you, that your soul is ready to forgive and release?”
